Service Project for November: 

First grade service project is the “Candy Drive”.  Please start bringing in your candy donation to support our troops.

  • Halloween Parade of costumes 8:15 am
    Other Halloween activities are the Haunted House in Grade 8 and Buddy class activities.
  • 12:30 Dismissal (After care will be available)

THURSDAY, No vember 1, 2012    ’Feast of All Saints’

SAVE THE DATE:  Our annual school picnic will be held at Rancho Park on Motor Avenue from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Come enjoy the afternoon with your fellow school families.  7th grade families are to bring a main dish.

There is a new activity involving each classroom taking responsibility for helping to serve Coffee and Donuts one Sunday a month. The student and their families are asked to take care of setting up, serving and cleaning up after each Mass on one Sunday. They are not required to provide the goods. The kids can wear their uniforms, and the parents can earn volunteer hours. Every grade gets one Sunday throughout the year.The 7th grade is responsible for Sunday November 18th.

We will like to have at least 2 families for each Mass.The Mass times are 8:30;10:30;12:30pm.
Please let me know our room parents Lily and Rose know a.s.a.p. which time slot will work best for you.
This week, we will test on The Church: Prayer Chapter 4.  We will begin our class Saints project toward the end of the week as well.  In science, 6th grade will be studying the fault lines and the different types of stress involving Earthquakes.  Genetics will be the study of subject for 7th grade, 8th grade will be studying the Carbon family and how it is related to all living things.  If the student’s are bringing treats for the class there are 17 students in 7th grade.  Halloween will be a short day and dismissal will be at 12:30 pm.  Students may come in their Halloween costumes on Wednesday. October 31, 2012.  The parade of costumes will begin at 8:15 AM after the morning assembly.  Prizes for the most original and most creative costumes will be awarded. 

Remember No gory makeup, masks, weapons, immodest attire or inappropriate slogans
