Can’t believe the time has finally come… I hope you are as excited as I am!

Monday, August 20th: The first day of school will be an Open House. Parents and students can arrive anytime between 9:00 and 11:00am. Parents are expected to stay with their child. Students do not need to come in their school uniform as this will be a casual day. You will need to check in with the office FIRST before you come to the classroom. As you enter the classroom, you will find a checklist on the large bulletin board.  Parents will have the opportunity to help your child put their supplies away, cover their books and help him/her get organized. Please bring everything on the supply list (see below) as well as your summer reading journals on Monday.  New Parents: Please be sure you attend the welcome gathering in O’Ryan Hall at 11:30am on Monday.

Tuesday, August 21st is an early dismissal day: 8–12:30pm. Students will not need to bring a lunch. However, students need to come in complete uniform and bring in a small, healthy snack. Student Council officers please arrive early to help the new students (see Ms. Parodi)

Wednesday, August 22nd and Thursday, August 23rd are full days 8-3pm.  The students will need to bring in a healthy snack & lunch.  Lunch can also be ordered from Mr. Traynor at http://www.crackofdawncatering.com/

Friday, August 24th is the standard Friday dismissal at 12:30pm.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I look forward to meeting and seeing all of you on Monday!
